An antique silver embossed tea caddy. This Hanau silver canister, is fully hallmarked and made by B. Neresheimer & sohn in 1893.
It is an object which in every sense of the word can best be described as a masterpiece of well established Hanau workmanship. The overall decoration is finished in scenes taken from classical Greek Mythology; with Apollo and Aphrodite forming a group amongst cherubs, floral designs, roccaille cartouches.
Condition; This object is in excellent condition indeed. It also has rather a pleasant soft tone both the silver and the finish. The centimeter size is ca, Base length and width; 6.0 x 4.5 Height; 14.5
