Description;

A very tall, mimosa colored, antique enameled gilt glass goblet with armorial coat of arms. Made in Bohemia in ca. 1870 by master glass makers.

This type of glass has a long tradition as both a pure decorative object; and as oversized drinking chalice at sporting clubs and other events. It has also been utilized amongst the very many European Merchants associations, or other similar places of social gatherings. They were also presented to organizations and individuals as prizes, for special merits and services.

Condition; There is wear to the gilding on the upper rim. The rest of the body is in excellent condition, the glass has a very pleasant ring to it when tapped. The centimeter size is ca, Base diameter; 12.5 Neck diameter; 11.5 Total height; 35.5
